Mitchie's Matchings was founded in 1978, by owner Mitch Fazekas. Originally the Company specialized in “fur matching”, when the furriers needed to match a skin for repairs or remodeling a coat “Mitchie’s Matchings” was the one stop shop.

​Fazekas dreamed larger, he was to be one of the first to create a complete line of genuine fur fashion accessories for women. Mitch understands the many concepts and techniques that can be applied to fur and realized that fur has two folds. Primarily it is known for its comfort and warmth. Add luxury, glamour and trendy styling and thus “Mitchie’s Matchings” would be re-defined. Fur accessories for both young active women as well as sophisticated luxury for fashion trend setters.

​With a strong background in the fur trade, a reputation for quality and innovation our company has been creating and manufacturing every aspect of winter related accessories for over 25 years.

Our production covers a wide range of products using only genuine furs: mink, fox, sheared beaver, chinchilla, coyote and rabbit, all dyed into a variety of fashion colors.

​Our dynamic team has designed an extensive line of fur hats, headbands, earmuffs, scarves, gloves, cashmere wraps, day time bags, evening bags, boot covers, vests, and fur trimmed jackets. We also carry a complete line of men’s fur hats.
